Hey MSN......why do you let thousands of bandwidth thieves create groups?
Are you so oblivious to what's going on right under your nose, or so completely out of control, that you're helpless to monitor your own members actions?

I just can't stand the air-head-webmaster-wannabes who think they are masters of something or another, simply because they could copy and paste content, pictures or anything else that falls under their cursor. They get sooooo power hungry it leads me to think they are so unrespected and invisible in their real worlds, they gradually develop delusions of grandeur online. They become demanding, undeciplined dictators- developing larger than life personas to intimidate and bully members..

Let's not forget the pressure they put on their members to post something, anything out of fear of being "banned". OH MY GAWD! Is that supposed to force people out of their real lives to do the monthly (or weekly) check in.... or else, chop, chop? No, for the most part the threats don't work, but at other times the members get so bullied that they begin to run the vicious circle of finding interesting content for the sole purpose of copying and pasting on the boards........and so it continues until one day someone comes to their senses and calls it quits.

I understand what webmasters bandwidth, copyright and other complaints are about- and I'm only of average intelligence. So I must assume that either people who manage groups are:

Not Creative

Lazy
Thieves
Have less than average intelligence
Just don't care

Are absolute morons short on moral fiber.
Are a combination of any or all of the above

For all the webmasters out there......get very familiar with your logs and see who's walking off with your stuff. Better yet, use htacces and disable hotlinking. If you don't know what those are, read, read and then when you're exhausted, read some more. Yes, it's boring! But it's alot more exciting than paying for extra bandwidth.

If you're reading this and you happen to own or manage an MSN group - and if you have NEVER copied anything or hotlinked to an image - or if you have NEVER erased credit and claimed something as your own work........then congratulations! Go forth and educate others.
